How We Organized the Landscape
At the same time, adoption is extending beyond school systems into the home, with Common Sense Media reporting that seven in ten teens have used generative AI tools, while most parents said their child’s school had not communicated with families about generative AI. Against this backdrop, we updated our AI-native K-12 EdTech market map with 11 additional companies versus the prior version and reframed the landscape around how solutions are used across teacher-led, student-led, and classroom-wide processes.
